Sudeep To Play An Antagonist In Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’!
Rumors have been doing rounds that Kannada star Kiccha Sudeep is all set to make his comeback in Bollywood films. A source says that Sudeep will be sharing screen space with actor Salman Khan in his upcoming film titled 'Tiger Zinda Hai'. Actress Katrina Kaif will be seen playing the female lead role in the film. If the rumors are to be believed, Sudeep has been roped in to play the main antagonist in this upcoming film 'Tiger Zinda Hai' which is being directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Sources say that Sudeep will be seen playing the role of an ISI agent named Zahir, who hails from Pakistan. Also, Katrina Kaif will be an agent of the same organization. But the official confirmations are yet-to-be-made.
Sudeep made his Bollywood debut with Ram Gopal Varma's directorial venture 'Phoonk' which was released in 2008. With the same director, he was seen in the films like 'Phoonk 2', 'Rann' and 'Rakhta Charitra'. Sudeep's blockbuster hit 'Eega' was dubbed in Hindi as 'Makkhi'. Now, after a gap of six years, Sudeep seems to be returning to Bollywood.
The shooting of ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ is expected to go on floors soon and the film is slated to hit the screens in December this year. On the other hand, Sudeep was last seen in the film titled ‘Hebbuli’, which as directed by Krishna. And the latter was recently awarded the Best Villain award for his role in the Telugu film ‘Eega’ at the recently announced Nandi Awards for the year 2013 by the Andhra Pradesh government.
Tiger Zinda Hai is a 2017 Indian action film directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. It the sequel to the 2012 movie Ek Tha Tiger and the second installment of Tiger film series. It will be released on 22 December 2017. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif reunited for the film.
