Shahid Kapoor trying hard to get Lakhan's role

Bollywood actorShahid Kapoor has only given 2 commercial hits -Jab We Met and Rajkumar in this 12 years career. Although, he was appreciated for Haidar but that was a serious film, so get some commercial value, one should do Masala films. He is trying hard to be a part of Rohit Shetty's remake of Ram Lakhan. He wants to play role of Anil Kapoor as Iconic lakhan. Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhota name is almost confirmed. Producer Karan Johar is there then both names are confirmed but Shahid Kapoor has started lobbing for this film. Source told that, 'He has confirmed it from starting that he don' want to play role of Jackie Shroff whereas he wants to play Anil Kapoor Crazy role.' He has send intentions to Rohit Shetty. But the question is raised that if Shahid will play role of small brother then 10 years younger Sidharth will not look like his elder brother. Discussion were on for Arjun Kapoor for Jackie's role but talk could not move forward. Source says that, 'John Abraham name is also coming for this, if Rohit confirms Shahid for Lakhan, then John name will be definitely discussed.
