Sanjay Leela Bhansali Gets Police Protection At The Airport

Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial ‘Padmavati’ is one of the most talked about the topic right now. The movie has been on controversy for quite some time now; it stars Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh in the lead role. The Rajput Karni Sena demanded to ban this movie as they think that the movie has some scenes of Rani Padmini and Alauddin Khilji. They even made threats to burn the theatres if the movie releases. Now, Bhansali has already faced a lot of criticism and abuse for this film, at the time of the shooting the filmmaker was beaten by the Karni Sena and the set was destroyed. However, he completely denied that there is any controversial scenes in the movie, he said that they have made this film with full responsibility and kept the honour to the Rajputs. Well, on his way to Delhi, the filmmaker was given full protection by the police; he didn’t even talk to the media and silently made his way to the airport. He has been facing threats since the inception of the film, a few weeks ago a threat was made to behead him, which is quite frankly a ridicules thing. The people who are against the movie have not even seen the movie yet. This is done to get political attention and to have something to talk about in politics, which is a lame thing to do. The movie was supposed to hit the screens on 1st December but due to the controversy, the makers had to postpone the release date. Now, it’s not announced the official release date of the movie. Let’s see when we get to see this movie.
