‘Sadak 2’ Will Be About Sanjay Dutt From First Frame To Last Says Pooja Bhatt

Recently, it was announced that Mahesh Bhatt is planning to make the second part of 1991 film ‘Sadak’, which he directed featuring Sanjay Dutt in the lead role. Pooja Bhatt recently announced that that will be coming with the second movie with the continuation of the story; she also revealed that the movie will feature Sanjay Dutt, who is battling with depression after conquering the drug addiction in the first movie. Mahesh Bhatt on the same matter said that Sanjay was 32 when they made ‘Sadak’ and now he will be returning as a 54-year-old man in ‘Sadak 2’. “The story has an emotional connect, I made the first film with a lot of love and passion”, he said. He also revealed that he will not be directing this film but will be associated as a producer. Mahesh also made it clear that her younger daughter Alia Bhatt will not be a part of the movie, earlier there were news that Alia might do ‘Sadak 2’, well now it’s clear that she will not be in the movie, however Pooja Bhatt will reprise her role, but she will be seen in a new avatar. It would be interesting to see her again in this movie after so long, her last appearance in a film was in 2001 film ‘Everybody Say’s I’m Fine’. Sanjay made his film return recently with ‘Bhoomi’ after two years, the movie didn’t do that well at the Box Office but he was appreciated for his performance, right now, he is working in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s ‘Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3’, after that he is committed to Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Munna Bhai 3’, so we might not see ‘Sadak 2’ very soon.
