Ranveer Singh Is Not The Part Of Akshay Kumar’s ‘Singh Is Kingg’ Sequel

Akshay Kumar’s 2008 film ‘Singh Is Kingg’ is considered as one of the best comedy films of that era, the movie was a commercial success and Akshay gained a lot of appreciation for his performance. Well, it was reported that the makers are planning on the sequel of the movie and Ranveer Singh was considered as the top pick for playing the lead role. The producer of the movie Shailendra Singh earlier stated that Ranveer has all the tools of playing a Sardar on screen, just like Akshay and Ajay, he also said that they approached him for the role and narrated the story to him in one line a few months ago and according to him Ranveer was interesting in the movie. “He asked me for a 10-page script for the movie, which I will be sending him in a week”, he said. However, the source close to Ranveer denied all the rumours and said that Ranveer has not been approached for any movie lately, the only films he is doing right now is Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy’, Kabir Khan’s ‘83’ and Rohit Shetty’s next comedy film. We wonder, if this news is not true then why Shailendra said that they approached Ranveer for the movie; well, we don’t know what’s the matter here, all we know is that Ranveer is getting some really good films, in ‘Gully Boy’, he will be seen as a rapper and if we remember Ranveer rapped in his second movie ‘Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl’, it would be interesting to see him in that film, while in ‘83’, he will portray the role of India’s first World Cup winning captain Kapil Dev. Right now, Ranveer is getting ready for his next film ‘Padmavati’, which will release on 1^st December and he will be seen as Alauddin Khilji.
