Kajol To Play A Single Mother In Pradeep Sarkar’s Upcoming Directorial Film

Kajol is all set to make her Bollywood return with Pradeep Sarkar’s next movie, she was last seen in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Dilwale’ with Shah Rukh Khan, the movie was a commercial success but was bashed badly by the critics. Now, after two years the veteran actress is ready for her return. The movie will be produced by her husband Ajay Devgn and it will be the adaptation of Anand Gandhi’s Gujarati play ‘Beta Kaagdo’. Kajol will be playing a single mother in the movie and the story will revolve around a mother-son relationship. Well, it would be interesting to see Kajol doing this role, we have never seen the actress doing something like this before and it will be a challenge for her, it is a good film to make a return in Bollywood, right now good content movies are appreciated in the Industry and the storyline of the movie looks good. The director Pradeep Sarkar said that he was offered the script four months and, it took some time for him to understand the Gujarati tone and eventually he fell in love with it. “This is an extremely emotional story which shows some incredible characters and people will connect and fall in love with them after watching the movie”, he said. Talking about the leading lady, Pradeep said that Kajol is an amazing actress and has her own style when he was reading the story, the first name came in his mind was Kajol. He also confirmed that the movie is not like his previous films like ‘Parineeta’, ‘Lafangey Parindey’ or ‘Mardani’, it is way different than all those films.
