Playback Singer Mubarak Begam is no more

Ruling many hearts at a time, Playback singer Mubarak Begam expired yesterday in her Jogeshwari situated house after suffering long from her illness. 80 years old Begam was ill from long time. After death for her daughter last year, she was in big shock and was also suffering from financial crisis. After her career got over, she had no alternative to earn money. Her family has one son and Daughter in Law, one daughter and 4 grand daughter. Son rides an Auto to serve his family. Begam who gave her melodious voice to more than 125 songs, but she never got any big award or Respect. All she was having was her songs and audience love that she got. In seventh Decade, she was thrown out of the Bollywood industry and last song that she sang was 'Sawariya teri Yaad' from the film Ram Tho Deewana Hai.' Mubarak Begum was born in Rajasthan. She moved to Mumbai when she was 10-year-old. A family member told, 'Mubarak Begam is not between us now. Yesterday Night around 9:30 she passed away. She was ill from long time.' From 1950 to 70s, she made everyone mad wit her magical voice. She sang songs, duets and ghazals in many superhit movies like Humrahi, Hamari Yaad Aaegi, Devdas, Madhumati, Saraswatichandra. Begam during her career worked with musician like R.D Burman, Shankar Jaikishan and Mohammed Zahur Khayyam. In 2011, Maharashtra Government helped Begam with Rs 1 lakhs who was suffering from Misery and disease. But later no big personality tried to help her.
