Movie Review - Antim: The Final Truth it is Salman Khan vs Aayush Sharma

Antim: The Final Truth hit the cinema halls with a bang on 26 November 2021, grabbing eyeballs. The action thriller film is directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, produced by Salman Khan Films and is an adaptation of 'Mulshi Pattern', a Marathi film. With eye-catching action scenes and prominent roles of Salman Khan and Aayush Sharma, the movie has achieved a Star rating of 3.5 stars.

Plot: The movie revolves around the nasty relationship between a Sikh police officer, a role portrayed by Salman Khan and a gangster, played by Aayush Sharma who enters a face-off every now and then. Antim is loosely based on the plight of farmers, forcing some of them to enter the world of crime in order to earn a living for themselves and their families. While Salman Khan's Rajveer Singh is the hero of the movie, Aayush Sharma's Rahul Patil plays a dreadful villain of a helpless, farmer's father. The terrible condition of Rahul's poor father turns him into a gangster who resents the rich and shoots every influential, evil person. On the other hand, is Sikh cop Rajveer Singh who intends to bring a change by ending hatred, crimes and illegal happenings. Following opposite ideologies, the duo frequently enters life-threatening conflicts. Meanwhile, Bollywood debutant Mahima Makwana who portrays the role of Manda, Rahul Patil's love interest has a Jubin Nautiyal sung romantic track to her credit.

Review: Even though the movie has released theatrically and grossed a good amount, it failed to impress people who entered the theatres with expecting eyes. The movie is action-packed, the star-cast, amazing, songs, pleasing however, the viewers were left irritated and bored. The beginning of the film was quite thrilling however, the repetitive conflicts and fights came across as annoying. The fights seemed never-ending, while Makwana was mostly missing. Aayush Sharma is in a new gangster avatar for the first time which is quite impressive. The movie was released amid the ongoing controversial farmer protests in the country which raised excitement levels among the public. Aayush Sharma is in a new gangster avatar for the first time which is quite impressive.

Direction: Mahesh Manjrekar has delivered a tremendous performance in terms of directions the storyline of the film has been crafted precisely. The director's focus is clear and the action sequences are on point. Even though some shots seem disoriented, most other scenes either do not fit in the film or are totally unnecessary and yet, Manjrekar's direction is flawless.
