Mirzya : Movie Review : Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher

Director Rakesh OmPrakash Mehra who has made films like 'Rang De Basanti', 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag', now he has tried to present the story of 'Mirza Sahibana' in his own style. Come lets do the review : Story : Story of the film is about the love of Mirza (Harshvardhan Kapoor) and Sahibana (Saiyami Kher) and also focuses on the problems which are chasing them. With this one more story is running Munish (Harshvardhan) and Suchitra (Saiyami). Both the stories look similar, but the style of both the story is different. Where in old story, Sahibana breaks the arrow of Mirza, but in today's story something different happens and reason also come that why she broke the arrow, to know this you have to see the film. How the Film Is : Mirzya shooting, location, and Filming is amazing. The cinematography is excellent and many great scenes have seen in front. If you don't know about the story of Mirza Sahibana, then you will get to know from this film. Songs were written by Gulzar and music of Shankar, Ehsaan Loy on it and voice of different singers and is equal to great work, which is seen in the film. Horse riding sequence and Archery sequence are shown so amazingly. Even after being the first film, it doesn't see that Harshvardhan and Saiyami are doing their debut with this film. Both have done amazing work. Weakness : Weakness of the film is its story. In 'Rang De Basanti', Rakesh show two stories at a time, which looked perfect. But this time, it is not seen perfect. It has a visual treat but the story will make you bore after some time. The screenplay could have been much better. A special audience will only like this film. Rakesh Mehra once again is seen diverted from his path. Box Office : Rakesh Mehra produced this film with Cinestaan Studios, which budget is told as 46 crores. The budget of the film was 36 crores and 10 crores were spent in Promotion. Now let's see, when this film is released on 1900 screens, then show much profit this film will make.
