Ashish Chowdhry To Be Seen As Detective 'Dev Anand' On Color's Channel

Actor Ashish Chowdhry is all set to make a comeback on Television after ‘Ek Mutthi Aasman’ in 2013. The fans still remember the actors electrifying chemistry with Rachana Parulkar in the show. But this time the actor will be seen in a different genre altogether.

This time the actor will be seen on the Colors Tv’s upcoming detective show, ‘Dev Anand’. Where he will be seen as a maverick spy who himself has a criminal background. The teaser of the show is out and appears to be quite intriguing and impressive.

In the show, the actor will be playing a character that has two shades, one of criminal and other of a detective.

On Indian Television we have witnessed some outstanding detective shows like Pankaj Kapur’s ‘Karamchand’ and Rajit Kapoor’s ‘Byomkesh Bakshi’ and the new one now with Ashish Chowdhry appears to be promising. Though we have seen CID and Crime Patrol, still they don’t fall in a Detective series category.

From the teasers, the character of Dev Anand reminds you of famous American Television series ‘Dexter’, who is a criminal and a detective. The show is said to be a blend of mystery, comedy, and action.
