IOA defended Salman Khan on Goodwill Ambassador of Olympics Games

Indian Olympic Association (IOA) on Sunday made Bollywood actor Salman Khan as Goodwill Ambassador of Rio Olympic. Many sports personality criticised this decision, after which IOA is out for it's stand. IOA in it's headquarter announced infront of M.S Mary Kom, Sardar Singh, Ritu Rani, deepika Kumari, Apurvi Chandela and Manika Batra. After this Indian wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt and any criticised it. IOA General secretary Rajiv Mehta said, 'We are very happy. We are thankful to Salman Khan to stand for Olympics games in India.' According to Mehta, including Salman Khan as Goodwill Ambassador will led to play more and more attention towards Olympic games in country. IOA Officer said, 'He is one of the biggest personalities in India and our main motive it to carry forward Olympics games in India through him.' Yogeshwar said, 'What is the goal of a ambassador, Players like Milkha Singh, P.T Usha worked very hard, what such ambassador has done in sports.' He also alleged that Salman Khan is using Olympics stage to promote his film Sultan. Milkha Singh has also criticised it.
