Abhishek Bachchan's 'The Big Bull' happens to be one of the many other movies that have entirely skipped a theatrical release. Like several other movies, The Big Bull is also slated to now premiere worldwide on OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar. The decision of the digital release comes at a time when OTT platforms and streaming services are being prominently used all across the world as theatres and cinema halls remain shut down due to the deadly COVID-19 crisis outbreak. The upcoming financial crime biopic is now all set to capture the viewer's attention right from the comfort of their homes. Following the cue, the first look poster of the upcoming film was released today after the announcement of its digital release.
The poster features Abhishek Bachchan who plays the pivotal role in the movie, in a very serious, tensed and stern look. Abhishek in the poster can be seen donning spectacles and a look that makes him appear to be in a deep thought. The upcoming movie is directed by Kookie Gulati, produced by Ajay Devgn, Anand Pandit and co-produced by Vikrant Sharma and Kumar Mangat Pathak. The Big Bull features an ensemble cast of Abhishek Bachchan, Nikita Dutta, Ileana D'Cruz, Sumit Vats, Ram Kapoor and others. The movie is a biopic based on the life of stockbroker Harshad Mehta. The movie revolves around the financial crimes that Harshad Mehta committed within a period of 10 years, between 1980 and 1990. The movie is all set to premiere digitally on Disney+ Hotstar and fans have been awaiting and anticipating the release. Abhishek Bachchan essays the lead role of the stockbroker Harshad Mehta in the movie.
