In the year 2016, Udta Punjab was seen trapped in the controversy of censorship and Shahrukh and director Karan Johar's films were also trapped in controversy because of Pakistani actors in the film. Come let us tell you such films which were trapped in controversy this year.
1: Udta Punjab: This film of Anurag Kashyap was trapped in censorship controversy. It was demanded to stop the film as it was said that this film is destroying the image of Punjab and the people there. So this film should not be released. This film was based on Drugs. Censor Board asked to remove 89 scenes from the film, Then the producers knocked that Bombay High Court and court ordered this film to release with one cut and disclaimer. Just before its release, this film was leaked online. Then makers requested the audience to see this film in the theaters but not online.

2: Sultan: Salman was asked his experience of his tough shooting of Sultan and his answer made the people angry. Maharashtra State Commission for Women sends him a summon to present. Salman in this film played the role of a wrestler. On that question, Salman said, 'Whenever I used to come out of the ring, then I used to feel like a rape victim.' After this, he said, 'I shouldn't have said this.'
After the Uri Attack in Jammu Kashmir, People were angry over Pakistan and Pakistani actors were not able to get safe from this fire. Then Salman was again trapped after saying that Artists are not terrorist and visa is given by the Government.

3: Ae Dil Hai Mushkil : This film was also in trouble after this URI attack because of Pakistani actor in the film. Fawad Khan worked in this film and MNS opposed the film release.
4: Raees : Well issue of Pakistani actor is also seen on Shahrukh Khan's 'Raees', this film is going to release on 2017. Pakistani actress Mahira Khan will be seen in this film. Shahrukh met Raj Thakrey and assured that Mahira will not promote the film.
