Noor Box Office Collection - Sonakshi Sinha is back on the big screen, and for the first time this year. Her new flick Noor, where she appears on the screen playing a journalist who is not so happy with any aspect of her life. The first day turn-out at the movie seems to be a disappointing one for the Dabbang - famed actor. Lacking any big star except Sonakshi, the movie attracted occupancy rate of lowly 10%  from the morning show but the business shoots up a bit by the evening shows as Rs 1.54 crores. Still bleak numbers for Bhusan Kumar, producer of the movie, who spent around 43 crores on it. Good news for him, movie is expected to pick up business at the weekend as it is not facing any tough challenges – Raveena Tandon's Maatr fell flat at the box office. The movie–based on the critically-acclaimed book Karachi, You are killing me! by Saba kazmi–has so far attracted mixed or negative reviews from critics. Th nephew of Sholay-famed producer Ramesh Shippy has been criticised for failing to do justice to the book. Few critics panned the movie for failing where the book excelled. A romantic comedy flick about Noor Roy Chowdhury who is neither happy with her professional life of tabloid journalist and wants to do some serious hardcore journalism nor with her personal life where she is rapidly gaining weight and lacking excitement in her life. Basically, Noor blames everyone else for inadequacies in her life. The movie cast also includes Purab Kohli, Kanan Gill, Manish Chowdhury, Shibani Dandekar, and Sunny Leone in a special cameo.
