Anees Bazmee Working On A Social Issue Movie And A Love Story

Anees Bazmee, who is known to make comedy film is working on a social issue love story. He has directed many successful comedy films like ‘No Entry’, ‘Welcome’ and ‘Singh Is King’ is looking to explore new genres. His last directorial film was Anil Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor starrer ‘Mubarakan’, which was a commercial hit. The report says that the filmmaker is working on four scripts right now. He revealed that he is working on three-four scripts right now and all are different from one another. “One of them is a comedy film which will be a multi-starrer, there is a social issue based one, there are a love story and a comedy-drama film”, he said. He also said that he has been making films in every genre, he has made movies like ‘Deewangee’, which was a suspense thriller, he directed ‘Pyar To Hona Hi Tha’, which was a love story, so it is not a new thing for him. “I have worked both as a writer and a director. I have made films in every genre. But in between, few of my films did not work out. And then I directed some comedy films back-to-back which worked and everyone thought I am good at only comedy but I am comfortable with every genre”, he said. Talking about his projects, Anees Bazmee said that he wrote a script which Chitrangda Singh liked and he will be making that film with her. He also stated that all of his projects are on a scripting stage will take some time to go on board. Well, let’s see what we get from Bazmee this time.
