Amitabh Bachchan told, he didn't take money for Black

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has said that he always wanted to work with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and when the director Bhansali approached him for a role in Black he didn't ask for money from him. The legend actor wrote in his blog dedicated to the film said that it for him to be a part of this good film was enough. Black has completed 12 years of its release. Amitabh Bachchan wrote he wanted to work with Bhansali after seeing his work and when he got that opportunity then he didn't take money for it. The film was based on the life of American author Helen Keller. In this film, Rani Mukherjee played the role of blind and deaf girl woman and Amitabh Bachchan played the role of a teacher. In one another tweet, Amitabh also revealed that Ranbir Kapoor was assistant director of Bhansali in this film. Teachers of Bollywood Bhansali also told that it was the prestigious moment of his life when his idol Dilip Kumar came to its premiere and he got appreciated for his performance in this film by him. Amitabh Bachchan won national award for the second time for this film. Amitabh taught these things to Shahrukh Khan Let me tell you that not only Ranbir Kapoor but actress Sonam Kapoor was also an assistant director of Bhansali on this film. Later Bhansali launched both the actors in his film Saawariya. The film Black was not that much box office success but it was a critically acclaimed movie.
