Adnan Sami received the Indian Citizenship Certificate from Home Ministry

This new Year got a very special gift for singer Adnan Sami because the Home Ministry gave him the certificate of Indian Citizenship. Union Home Minister Kiran Rijiju assigned Adnan Sami the certificate of Indian Citizenship. He shared this special moment on the twitter and thanked the Home Ministry. Adnan Sami even thanked the Indian PM Narendra Modi for giving such a wonderful gift. He wrote, 'My Profound thanks to Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji for approving my Indian Citizenship.A New birth!' Adnan Sami who was born in Lahore appealed the Home Ministry on 26 May, 2015 that he should be allowed to stay in India on Humanitarian Grounds. Adnan came to India on 13 March, 2001 with Tourist visa, which was valid for 1 year. Adnan with his singing won many hearts of Indian. Recently, he sang a song in Salman Khan starrer film Bajrangi Bhaijaan and was loved by audience.
