Actress Priyanka Chopra Will Be The Brand Ambassador For Skill India Campaign

Our very own Desi Girl Priyanka Chopra will soon be seen endorsing the government's flagship Skill India Campaign. The National Skill Development Corporation has decided to make the actress the face of the campaign and a brand ambassador for the initiative. The actress expressed her keen interest in using her celebrity status to motivate youngsters to refine their abilities through the campaign. The MD and CEO of National Skill Development Corporation, Manish Kumar stated that they have sent a letter to the actress to be the Brand Ambassador and she has expressed her interest in it. Earlier, Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli, Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, Bollywood actors Sidharth Malhotra and Shabana Azmi and singer Mohit Chauhan, have also acted as active representative of the Campaign. Manish Kumar also added that Priyanka Chopra has a global presence and her being the face of the campaign will defiantly help it largely. The Skill India Campaign was launched by PM Narendra Modi in July 2015. The campaign aims to train 40 crore people by 2022. Recently the actress was slammed on the social media for wearing a short dress while meeting the PM Narendra Modi in Berlin while he was on his four nation’s tour. But the actress, who has been a pride of the country with her talent and skill went on to be unaffected by it.
