Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan Test Positive For Coronavirus

While the current coronavirus pandemic has turned the world upside down, another news regarding the coronavirus pandemic has shaken the Bollywood industry to the core and has left fans dismayed. Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan has unfortunately fallen prey to the deadly coronavirus revolving around the country. Besides, coronavirus did not spare his son too as Abhishek Bachchan has also tested positive for the virus. You heard that right. Bollywood's Shahenshah and his son have been tested positive for COVID-19. The news of Amitabh Bachchan getting affected was reported first after the actor himself informed everyone through Twitter. Abhishek Bachchan's news of getting affected from the deadly virus followed next. Following the test, Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan have been admitted to the Nanavati hospital in Mumbai. The entire Bollywood industry and the entire country in fact, is in shock. However, it has been reported that both actors currently have mild symptoms.

A positive Amitabh Bachchan took to his official Twitter handle to share the unfortunate information. The superstar wrote: "I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff undergone tests, results awaited .. All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested !". After Amitabh Bachchan was tested positive, the fear of others at his home getting infected has risen. All the members at Amitabh Bachchan's home including the workers and other staff were tested following which only Abhishek Bachchan was found to be coronavirus positive. People heaved a sigh of relief as other members of the family tested negative. A while after his father's tweet, Abhishek Bachchan also tweeted regarding his condition. He wrote: "Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you". Social media has been bombarded with wishes for the renowned actors.
