'A Gentleman' Box Office Collection Day Wise Budget Hit or Flop

'A Gentleman' Box Office Collection - This Friday was a busy one at the Box Office, with four releases. The genre of all the movies was different but yet the screen space was divided and it indeed impacted the collection. The Movie ‘A Gentleman’, which was the big budget movie of all the three other releases and had a known star cast, started its day one on a slow note, with an occupancy rate of only 15%. The movie directed by Raj & DK starred Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead. The movie had a lot of hype around it with the trailer and the songs released. The budget in which the movie is made is Rs 60 Crores all-inclusive. Where the Production Cost is 45 Crores and Prints & Advertising Cost is15 Crore. A Gentleman Screens A Gentleman is releasing on a total of around 2500 screens across India. The movie was expected to get a good footfall at the theatres on its opening day as it was released on 2500 screens around India and considering Sidharth Malhotra’s previous releases, good opening day scores. His last release ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ didn’t quite live up to the expectations but all said and done it opened in theatres at Rs. 6.81 crores. And his ‘Kapoor & Sons’ also registered Rs. 6.85 crores. But this time his movie ‘A Gentleman’ could manage to earn on 4.04 Crore at the Box Office. The movie so far has received mixed reviews but being a big starrer release of the week it is the strongest new release at theatres.  Now the weekend also looks bleak for the movie, considering the tension and curfew in Northern Cities of India and collection over the weekend will be majorly hampered by it.
