Pooja Bhatt Opens About ‘Sadak 2’, Says It Deals With Depression

Pooja Bhatt is planning the sequel of 1991 movie ‘Sadak’, the first movie starred Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt in the lead role and it was a commercial success. Now, the second movie will be different than the first one, nothing much is known about the project as of now but Pooja recently opened that the movie will deal with depression, which sounds interesting. We have seen a lot of movies in this issue but considering the fact that it will be a Bhatt production, we can expect some crazy things in the movie. Pooja present World Mental Health Day event, where she announced that they are making ‘Sadak 2’ which deals with the issue of depression. She said, “We are making ‘Sadak 2’ and it will show Sanjay Dutt in his true present time”. Now, in the first movie, Sanjay was a drug abuse survivor, so it seems that he is dealing with depression. She also said that it will be a commercial film. Knowing, Pooja Bhatt as a filmmaker, this movie might be a psychological thriller or psychological drama. She has made some amazing movies in the past and there’s no doubt that she will do full justice to this movie. Proceeding with the same story is actually a good idea, the story of ‘Sadak’ was interesting and it calls for a sequel. Now, we don’t know when this movie will start, Sanjay Dutt recently made his return to Bollywood in ‘Bhoomi’ nearly after three years and he has some projects in hand right now, including Tigmanshu Dhulia’s ‘Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3’ and Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Munna Bhai 3’.
