Pakistan Denies Visa to Anupam Kher

Supporter of BJP Anupam Kher was denied to get the visa by the Pakistan to attend the Literary Festival in Karachi. Anupam was called as a guest there and he had to spoke in two sessions. In the function of 4 days, organisers have called 18 Indians ad Anupam Kher was one of them. He is the only one, who did not got the visa, rest 17 got the visa. Anupam Kher said, 'I am very upset that 17 out of 18 got the visa, leaving me.' He said in a phrase, 'Delay is the deadliest form of denial.' Anupam Kher said, ' I am very upset, I was thinking further to take part in the program and wanted to use the stage there. He said, 'we welcome there artist, if in India he is criticise at one place then on the other place he is welcomed also.' Kher said, “I wish I knew. I am wondering if it is because I am a Kashmiri Pandit or because of my views on the tolerance debate in India.” Before this also his visa was denied by Pakistan in May, one NGO invited him to attend a program, he was very excited about the program, that time Pakistan said, he was not given visa because of some security problem.' Kher said the visa denial has left the festival organisers embarrassed and they have apologised to him.
