Plot- This movie is based on the life of Flight Attendant Neerja Bhanot and the character of Neerja is played by
Sonam Kapoor.
Shabana Azmi is playing the role of Neeja Mother in the film directed by Ram Madhwani. Music Composer Shekhar will debut in the movie. Film is produced by Atul Kasbekar.
Neerja is a portrayal on the life of the courageous Neerja Bhanot, who sacrificed her life while protecting the lives of 359 passengers on the Pan Am flight 73 in 1986. The flight was hijacked by a terrorist organization. Neerja was just 23 when she sacrificed herself for the passengers in the flight. Terrorist shot Neerja and killed her.
