The story is written by Konkana Sen Sharma’s father Mukul Sharma, who might know the actual story of the event which happened in 1979. With a powerful cast, the movie tells a powerful story. Yes, its not everyone’s cup of tea, yes, not everyone will get the movie. But the one who will understand it, will always recall it as one of the best movies. Every cast in the movie from Vikrant Messey to Kalki Kochelin, Jim Sarbh makes sense. And everyone did their job beautifully. Specially, Vikrant, with his portrayal of Shutto, he just made that character believable. Kalki Kochelin has a very important role in this film and she has nailed it. Ranveer Shorey and Gulshan Devaiah has done justice to their role. But what definitely stands out is Vikrant Messey’s performance. We have to give Konkona Sen Sharma credit here. The direction looks amazing, and it proved that the movie deserves every bit of appreciation that it got in the film festivals. She has truly done a work worth watching.  She has shown the Anglo-Indians beautifully. Her vision and cinematographer Sirsha Ray’s does a brilliant job of conjuring the audience. And by the way the best part of the movie is cinematography. Every scene in the movie is beautiful and take you to that world. What’s irony here is that the film sets in the 1970s but the way women talk gives the glimpse of how women are now. It talks about freedom, it talks about feminism and most importantly it talks about trust. Konkana has shown all three of that. Until the last minute of the movie, the audience will have the same level of excitement. It is presented as a psychological thriller, which is the best way to show these type of stories. WHY TO WATCH:- Every year Bollywood churns out some movies that are beyond the numbers of Box Office collection. And this one is one such movie that has a good content.  It has amazing casts, with awesome direction, amazing story and believable characters. Watch it for an experience worth while.
