‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ Gets Two Months Of Extension, Thanks To Salman Khan

Fight between Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover back in March became one of the biggest controversies of this year. Along with Sunil Grover (Mashoor Gulati), three other artists Ali Asgar (Nani), Chandan Prabhakar (Chandu Chaiwala) and Sugandha Mishra (Teacher) quit the show. Which dropped the TRP of the show majorly in the first week of April. After the exit of the popular stars, Kapil brought veteran comedians and his old friends from laughter challenge Raju Shrivastava and Ehsaan Qureshi as the replacements, which didn’t help the show either. The TRP continued to drop and the channel gave an ultimatum to Kapil and was about to reserve the time slot for another season of Salman Khan's famous game show 'Dus Ka DUm'. Now we are hearing that Kapil Sharma has two months of extension after ‘Dus Ka Dum’ has been postponed. And the reason for that is host Salman Khan’s unavailability. Salman is busy shooting with Katrina Kaif for ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, which will feature them after six years. So the makers of ‘Dus Ka Dum’ have pushed the show to January 2018. This is good for Kapil as he gets some more time to run the show and get back on the track. Well, the recent episode featuring Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, saw a little positive response but it still lacks on the comedy content.
