Shekhar Kapur is one of the filmmakers who has made a name for himself both in Bollywood and Hollywood as a compelling filmmaker, he has directed movies like ‘Masoom’, ‘Mr India’ and ‘Bandit Queen’ in Bollywood and ‘Elizabeth’, ‘The Four Feathers’ and ‘New York, I Love You’ in Hollywood, quite frankly, he is one of the greatest filmmakers of India. Recently, we heard that he will be working on his ambitious project ‘Paani’ with actor Sushant Singh Rajput, but it looks like that project is on hold. As the report suggests that his next film will be with actress Kangana Ranaut, who will be playing the role of an 85-year-old woman; now, knowing Kangana as an actress, there’s no doubt that this movie will work out as it has two brilliant artists in Shekhar Kapur and Kangana Ranaut. Kangana is currently busy with the shooting of her upcoming film ‘Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi’, where she will be playing the role of Rani Laxmi Bai. It would be interesting to see her in this film directed by Shekhar, talking about the movie Shekhar said that he is currently working on the script and it is a beautiful story. He also announced that the movie will be similar to his 1983 movie ‘Masoom’, but will not be a sequel or anything. Kangana is also planning her first directorial film, where she will again play the role of an old woman, it certainly sounds interesting. Shekhar Kapur’s movies are always delightful to watch, he tells a beautiful story and when he announced ‘Paani’ with Sushant Singh Rajput, we all got excited. However, we don’t know when we will see that film, but this film with Kangana will certainly come first.
