Amid the novel coronavirus pandemic, people all around the world have resorted to staying at home to prevent and fight the spread of the deadly crisis. While indoors, people have been coming up with innovative ideas to keep themselves sane and entertained. Recently, Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez has come up with an innovative idea of an online dance competition. The actress has decided to launch her program, titled 'Home Dancer' on the popular OTT platform, Disney+ Hotstar. The extremely entertaining and innovative competition is slated to premiere online on May 25, elevating the happiness and excitement among dance lovers and the audience. The five-week-long show that will be hosted by Television actor and host, Karan Wahi, will give an opportunity to all the dance lovers to portray their dance steps and moves from their homes itself.

An excited Jacqueline Fernandez was reported saying that she is very elated to launch the unique dance competition. Jacqueline who is also a fitness enthusiast says that dancing gives her an adrenaline rush and also works as a therapy for her mind, body and soul. For taking part in the competition from home, the interested participants are required to log in to the Disney+ Hotstar app, select a theme and choose an already available track after which they would be needed to submit their 60-90-second-long dance videos on the site. Interestingly, the audience will be given the opportunity to vote for the winners. The winners will also be subjectable to a cash prize of 4 lakh rupees every week.
