Irrfan Khan Said That He Is Excited Not Nervous About ‘Qarib Qarib Singlle’

Actor Irrfan Khan who is known for playing intense characters will next be seen in Adventurous film ‘Qarib Qarib Singlle’, he will be playing a man from UP named Yogi in the movie, the trailer was released last month and it looked interesting, it stars Malayalam actress Parvathy as the female lead in the movie, she will be making her Bollywood debut and what a way to kick of her Hindi career with Irrfan Khan. In a recent interview, Irrfan said that he is not nervous but excited about the movie. “We don’t get to do movies like this in Bollywood very often, it is a film which everyone will love and will relate to”, he said. He also said that the when the role of Yogi came to him, he thought that he would not be able to do it. Talking about the director Tanuja Chandra, Irrfan said that this movie is nothing like her previous films, and she is starting a new chapter with this film. He also stated that he has a lot of expectations with this movie. “See, expectations are there, it’s a part of life, you can give a good performance in a film but it’s important for that film to recover the money”, he said. Irrfan was recently seen with a Pakistani actress Saba Qamar in ‘Hindi Medium’, which was a Box Office success, the movie went on the earn around 102 crores, becoming one of the very few movies this year to cross 100 crores. Now, ‘Qarib Qarib Singlle’ is different than ‘Hindi Medium’, it is a rom-com, but just like ‘Hindi Medium’, this movie also looks interesting and compelling. Irrfan as this weird Yogi is something his fans want to see him. The movie will release with Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Kharbanda starrer ‘Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana’.
