First Look Poster Of Vidya Balan's Upcoming Short Film ‘Natkhat’ Unveiled

The first look poster of Vidya Balan's new upcoming venture 'Natkhat' was unveiled today. Natkhat is an upcoming short film featuring Vidya Balan in the lead role. The poster of the short film showcases a scene set in a rural area wherein Vidya Balan’s character Surekha can be seen dressed as a simple village lady giving a head massage to a little boy while lost in a deep, tensed thought. One of the most versatile and talented actors in the film industry, Vidya Balan has now turned into a producer for the upcoming film. Natkhat has been directed by Shaan Vyas and produced by Vidya Balan in collaboration with Ronnie Screwvala. The movie also holds an interesting tagline that says "Ek Kahaani Sunoge...?".

In the short film, Vidya will be seen essaying the role of a mother named Surekha. The short film is based on social issues and touches upon the sensitive issues of gender equality, discrimination, respect and caste. As per reports, Vidya Balan said that the short film is dedicated to show viewers that change can easily begin at one's home. Reportedly, Vidya informed that her character in the movie attempts to bring a change in the social and communal perspective of a child. Balan also said that the makers have not decided upon the OTT platform they would premiere the short film on as they want to ensure that the short film should reach each and every school in the nation. Fans have been very excited about the upcoming project and are anticipating the release. The poster of the movie was shared by Vidya Balan herself on social media alongside many others like film critic Taran Adarsh.
