First Look Poster Of 'The Accidental Prime Minister' Released Today

The first look poster of the upcoming movie ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’ Directed by Vijay Ratnakar Gutte and Produced by Bohra Bros is released today. The story of the movie is based on Sanjaya Baru's book The Accidental Prime Minister and is slated to release in December next year. Talented actor Anupam Kher will be playing the lead character of the former prime minister of India Manmohan Singh in the movie ‘The Accidental Prime Minister'. The screenplay of the movie will be done by National Award winning Hansal Mehta. The poster of the movie gives us a sneak peak on the subject of the movie. It displays a side face view of the turbaned minister and an alley where we see a Sonia Gandhi like figure standing. When Anupam Kher was approached by a news agency on his take on the new role he has been asked to portray, the actor said, “Acting the role of someone from the recent times is particularly challenging, as people tend to make comparisons. But as I have always loved to take up challenges, right from my first movie ‘Saaransh’ where I portrayed an old retired man, I am eagerly looking forward to the role of former PM Manmohan Singh”. When the makers were asked about the remaining cast of the movie they said that it is still to be auditioned and finalised.
