Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus 'Padmavati' got even bigger. Popular filmmaker and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures have now decided to bring the movie in 3D format. The historical drama film 'Padmavati' will be converted into the 3D format. It is really a very good news, as we would be able to see SLB's spectacular vision in 3D.
According to the reports in a leading entertainment daily, makers decided to convert the film in 3D, after they saw what Bhansali has created this time. The source says that they know that they are racing against time, as the movie is releasing in little over a month period. But after watching what Bhansali has created on screen, the makers were forced to take the experience to a whole new level.
According to the buzz in the industry, the makers are negotiating with the best technicians from Hollywood to turn 'Padmavati' in 3D format. Once finalized, the Hollywood technicians will fly down to Mumbai and turn the movie into something totally new in one month.
When asked about the reason behind this sudden change, the source of a leading entertainment daily said that there are two things for this sudden decision. The first reason is the epic design of the film, which requires a totally different movie watching experience. He was so thrilled with what has been achieved with 'Devdas', he was tempted to do the same with his upcoming film.
'Padmavati' is scheduled to release on 1st December this year. The movie features Deepika Padukone in the title role of Rani Padmavati. The movie also features Shahid Kapoor as Rawal Ratan Singh and Ranveer Singh as Sultan Alauddin Khilji.
