All-day Bengaluru Bandh on 28th April

Cauvery Water sharing issue has been one of the most sensitive issues in Bengaluru. Now, pro-Kannada organizations in Bengaluru are planning a day-long bandh on 28th April. The pro-Kannada organizations led by former MLA Vatal Nagaraj are protesting against the release of Bahubali 2. The Kannada organizations are very angry with Sathyaraj, who is playing the role of Kattappa in the movie. The people are angry with Sathyraj due to a statement made by him a few years back. Talking about the issue, former MLA Vatal Nagaraj said to the leading daily, “Our dissent is not against the movie Bahubali but against Sathyaraj who had made derogatory comments on Kannadigas and Karnataka leaders. We want him to apologize to the people of Karnataka and only then will we allow the screening.” Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is the most anticipated movie of Indian cinema. Director S. S. Rajamouli has clarified the issue by saying that Sathyaraj has made the comment nine years ago, which is long back and multiple films featuring Sathyaraj have been released in Karnataka over the years. Talking about the same, Rajamouli said, “Linking his old remarks that were made several years ago with the current scenario and posing an obstacle to the release of movie is not in the interest of the industry” However, the Kannada organizations are not holding back, as they have planned an all day long shutdown in Bengaluru. They will hold their protest march from Town Hall to Freedom Park.  Talking about the protest, Nagraj said, “The entire city will be shut from dawn to dusk expressing solidarity with the cause,” Some of the organizations are also planning protest in front of the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce, as they are seeking a ban on screening of all Tamil films in the state until Sathyaraj apologies. Some of the organizations are also furious because Bahubali 2 is being released in the state directly by the producers. Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is the most anticipated movie of Indian cinema, as the first film of the series was highest grossing film ever in Indian cinema. The release of the movie is around the corner, so the producers are looking to sort things out. You May Also Like Bollywood Movies 2017 Box Office Collection Upcoming Movies List
