Confirmed! Tiger Shroff to play lead in Student of the year 2

Four years ago producer director Karan Johar three new talents to the Bollywood industry with his movie Student of the year. Newbie actor Sidharth Malhotra, director David Dhawan's son Varun Dhawan and director Mahesh Bhatt's son Alia Bhatt made their Bollywood debut with Karan Johar directorial debut film Student of the year. Now all the three are the stars of Bollywood. Few months ago Karan Johar announced that he is going to produce sequel of Student of the year and casting for the film is in the process. Earlier it was reported several times that Karan Johar has approached Tiger Shroff to play lead in SOTY sequel. Now official page of production house Dharma productions owned by Karan Johar announced that Tiger Shroff is finalized to play lead in SOTY 2. Director producer Karan Johar himself also announced and tweeted : It is official now Tiger Shroff to play lead in Student of the Year 2 (SOTY 2) will be direct by Punit Malhotra. He also announced the logo of the sequel flick. This is to notice that earlier Karan Johar directed the first part of the film series but this time he has given opportunity to I hate luv storys and Gori Tere Pyaar Mein fame director Punit Malhotra. On the other hand Tiger Shroff is also full of upcoming projects. He has already two projects in line up one is sequel of Baaghi and another one is dance film Munna Michael both will be direct by Sabbir Khan.
