Business Is Important Not Just For Films, Producers But For Whole Industry Says Rohit Shetty

After the huge success of ‘Golmaal Again’, Rohit Shetty is back with a bang in the Industry, for few years Rohit was struggling to give a huge hit at the Box Office, his last Blockbuster was in 2013 in ‘Chennai Express’ starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in the lead role after that his two films ‘Singham Returns’ and ‘Dilwale’ didn’t work that well at the Box Office, now finally he is back with ‘Golmaal Again’. As of now, the movie has earned around 179 crores, which is his second biggest film after ‘Chennai Express’. The movie is slowly moving in the 200 club, if this happens it would be his second movie to do so. Now, Rohit in a recent interview said that business is the most important thing when we make a film. He also said that the business of the film shows the number of people who actually watched the film. “It is important not just to film or producers but it is important for the whole industry for the distributor, for the exhibitor, for the theatre owners and for everyone associated with that film”, he said. Further adding, he said, “we should come forward to celebrate each other’s success, whether it’s a commercial film or it’s a content-driven film”. He will be working with Ranveer Singh in his next action movie, where he has promised that we will see Ranveer in a whole new ‘avatar’. Now, the critics might not like Rohit’s work, which is for obvious reasons, but his movies always work at the Box Office and make impacts.
