Box Office : Udta Punjab opening day collection

After a long struggle of Udta Punjab with Censor Board, it was finally released yesterday and it did not do well at the box office on first day. Very few people went to see this film on single screens. First day collection of Udta Punjab is 10.05 crores. But people are giving very good review. Based on drug addict youth in Punjab and Distributor faced a bit sad collection. Film did better work on multiplex. One distributor told, 'Film got an average start, I think film collected business of 10 crores, this is less, after so much of issue, this start was not expected.' Shaid Kapoor, ALia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh did business of 2000 screens. Film did good business at very less places. Gaty Galaxy and Maratha Mandir Cinema director Manoj Desai said that film went bad on single screens. Only 50 % tickets were sold. Many people went during interval.
