Bansali did not wanted that Kangana should get National Award for Best Actress

Kangana Ranaut engraved her name as Best Actress Award in 63th National Award. Everyone is congratulating her. But Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bansali, is not looking happy got giving this award to Kangana Ranaut. He says that, if this award was given to Deepika Padukone then he would be happy. For Film Tanu Weds Manu Returns, Kangana Ranaut got this National Award. But Bansali says that Kangana is outstanding, but he wanted this award should be given to Deepika Padukone for Bajirao Mastani. He said, 'Kangana is a wonderful actress, there is no doubt in that. But for the heart, I wanted this award should be given to Deepika or Priyanka. Deepika did amazing acting, whereas Priyanka performance was also outstanding.' He said, 'National Award Jury selected Kangana as Best Actress, I am happy with this. Kangana gave tremendous performance in Tanu Weds Manu Returns. But as a director, I wanted this award to be given to Deepika or Priyanka. Sanjay Leela Bansali got Best Directed Award for Bajirao Mastani. When Bansali was asked that is he wanted to work with Kangana in future ? On this he said, 'See, I don't talk about future. This depends on Planning. I don't make films for Box Office or awards, my first priority is audience, I make films for them.'
