Anil Kapoor And Aishwarya Rai Bachchan To Reunite In Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s, ‘Fanney Khan’

It is believed that the big screen will see Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan once again. They have worked together in the films like ‘Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai’ in 2000 and ‘Taal’ in 1999, and now as per the rumours they might be seen together very soon in Rakyesh Omprakash Mehra's 'Fanney Khan'. Aishwarya, who made her comeback in 2015 with ‘Jazbaa’, last year appeared in two films which include ‘Sarbjit’ and ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. The rumours are that she is very choosy with projects now and hasn't touched any project since ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. Now as the rumour says, she might give a nod to the makers of ‘Fanney Khan’ opposite Anil Kapoor. The news that is surfacing also states that she is also set to go for Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Gulab Jamun’ with husband Abhishek Bachchan but she will take ‘Fanney Khan' first. The movie is said to be inspired by the Oscar Nominated musical comedy ‘Everybody’s Famous’. Actor Anil Kapoor who is rumoured to play the male lead in the movie was last seen in 2015 movie ‘Welcome Back’, where he reprised his role from the previous installment and he will next be seen with his nephew Arjun Kapoor in ‘Mubarkaan’. If rumours are to be believed then the makers will soon lock the other cast of the movie and the movie will go on floors by the end of this year. Presently Mehra is working on 'Mere Pyare Prime Minister' which revolves around the friendship of four kids living in the slums. The film is being shot in slums of Mumbai.
