Akshay Kumar And Rajinikanth Starrer ‘2.0’ Hindi Theatrical Rights Sold For Huge Amount

One of the most awaited movie ‘2.0’ starring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar is set to release in January 2018. The movie will see Akshay Kumar as the antagonist. The film is expected to have the biggest release as of now. It will break ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ record as it will be screening on maximum screens in India. A source said that '2.0' makers wanted over INR 100 crore. But the distributors weren’t too sure about paying that huge amount for the movie because that would make it risky. But the further report suggests that the deal was done and the makers agreed to sell the theatrical rights for 80 crores. The source also stated, “The exhibitors are sure that they won’t lose money on the price since Akshay’s presence will boost the film and reach to Hindi audiences,”. Earlier, the epic sci-fi movie was scheduled to release on Diwali this year but it was postponed and now will release on 25th January 2018. ‘2.0’ is the sequel of Rajinikanth's 2010 film ‘Robot’, which also featured Aishwarya Rai Bachchan The movie is made on the budget of 450 crores and considering the fact that the movie is expected to be the biggest release and it features Akshay and Rajinikanth, two of the biggest stars, it will make good money. And it will not be a shock if it beats ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ record. The movie also cast  Amy Jackson, Sudhanshu Pandey and Adil Hussain among others.
