The Forbes annual list of 'The World's Highest Paid Celebrities' has been revealed and Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has gained a place among the top 100 highest paid celebrities. Interestingly, the Bollywood actor happens to be the only Indian to secure a place in the list. Akshay Kumar has managed to fix his place at the 52nd spot with an earning of a whopping $48.5 million. In the last year 2019's list, Akshay Kumar stood at number 33 with an earning of $65 million. According to reports, the actor lost the position due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Forbes list of 'The World's Highest Paid Celebrities' has been topped by 22-year-old American celebrity, Kylie Jenner. Akshay Kumar happens to be one of the most talented and versatile actors in the film and entertainment industry with over 29 years of his life dedicated to the film industry.

Akshay Kumar has been described as the "top earning star" in the Indian film industry and "one of India's most philanthropic celebrities" by the Forbes list. Securing the 52nd position in the list among 100 others, Akshay Kumar has left behind renowned names like Rihanna, Katy Perry, Jennifer Lopez, Will Smith, Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan and others. According to the Forbes list, Akshay's new upcoming web series debut, The End, in collaboration with Amazon Prime Video has also worked in favour of the actor's presence at spot 52 in the list. Akshay Kumar's upcoming movies Bachchan Pandey and Bell Bottom also happen to be the reason behind the actor's success.
