Actor Harshvardhan Rane Replaces Abhishek Bachchan In 'Paltan'

A few days back, we were taken aback by the news that Abhishek Bachchan has walked out of JP Dutta’s ensemble war drama, ‘Paltan’. And all this happened just a few hours before the unit was about to leave for Ladakh, to shoot for the first schedule of the movie. No reason was given by the actor as on why he took such a hasty ditch that too before the shoot was just about to begin. But the makers were in a real dearth as they had to scramble for a replacement soon. And now, the news has come that their search ended in Harshvardhan Rane who made his debut last year in the movie ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’. A source close to the project shared that as Rane is more or less has same built as Abhishek Bachchan, he proved to be the best replacement for the role. He gave screen tests as a soldier and he looked just perfect for the role. To confirm the news when the media tried to get in touch with Harshvardhan, he was not able to be reached, and the reason for it said to be that the actor is already in Ladakh shooting and the place has a signal issue.
