Abhishek Bachchan To Star In The Next Comedy Film By Priyadarshan

When it comes to comedy, no one can beat Priyadarshan, he has given many entertaining films in the past like ‘Hera Pheri’, ‘Hungama’, ‘Hulchal’, ‘Chup Chup Ke’, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’, ‘Billu’ and the list goes on. He is one of the most respected filmmakers in the Industry right now. Well, he has not directed a Hindi film in a while and the news is coming that he is all set to make his return in Hindi films. He also said that he approached Abhishek Bachchan to play the lead role and they are working on the script right now. He also said that hopefully, they will start the project in January after he approves the final script. Priyadarshan has done many films with Akshay Kumar and he is looking someone just like him. He said that Abhishek is a brilliant actor and can be great in comedy films just like Akshay. He stated the people are expecting another ‘Hera Pheri’ and ‘Hulchul’ from him. Now, he didn’t say anything whether he will be making those films or not but this might be the indication that he is interested in making this films, which is great, ‘Hera Pheri’ and ‘Hulchul’ is considered to be one of the best comedy films ever made in Bollywood. His last Hindi directorial film was ‘Rangrezz’ starring Jackky Bhagnani, Priya Anand, Amitosh Nagpal and Vijay Verma in the lead role. Now, after five years he will be making his Bollywood return to make us laugh again. He revealed that he was out of films due to some personal reasons. It would be interesting to see Abhishek Bachchan in Priyadarshan’s film, we have seen Abhishek in comedy films before and he is quite good at it.
