Famous director Shoojit Sircar is Pink's creative director and this is what has become strong for the film. But it also has become bad for a director as the film is known for Shoojit Sircar's film. Shoojit Sircar is known for giving social movies with such an ease concept. Anuranan and Antheen fame Bengali film director Anirudh Roy Chowdhary is making her Bollywood debut with this film.
Story
The story of the film revolves around four female characters who are part of the main incident. However, the writer has gone under the character of the ladies but he has pointed out the male dominating thoughts for women. Three working women live in a rented house in Porsche area in Delhi. Meenal (
Taapsee Pannu) is from Karolbagh, Delhi, Falak (Kirti Kulhari) is from Lucknow, and Andrea (Andrea) is from Meghalaya. However, after a rock concert, Meenal had a fight with Rajveer (Angad Bedi) in which for self-defense Meenal hits wine bottle on Rajveer's head. After the starting incidents, the main drama gets started. When the three ladies have to go to the court to fight against Rajveer and in the support of them Deepak Sehgal (
Amitabh Bachchan) takes their case.
Script
Film's script has written by Ritesh Shah, however, he has written a simple script but he has made it like to think about it. As the story moves you will connect with it. The characterization has been done very beautifully. The dialogues which have been used in a courtroom after hearing them it looks like they have done lots of research on it.
Acting
Taapsee Pannu and Kirti Kulhari's performances have designed film Pink beautifully, you can connect with their acting. In courtroom Piyush Mishra and Amitabh Bachchan have made their courtroom scenes a mind blowing, even many time audience just wanted to see their conversation. Amitabh Bachchan is again has lived a lawyer's role in the film. Other actors like Angad Bedi, Andrea, Vijay Verma and much more have done their work in the film. Every character has something different.
Weakness
Maybe its backdrop can be a weakness for the film as on which kind of subject the film has made. Maybe some people will not connect with the mindset.
Music
The film's music makes a story of the film shine and one song Kaari Kaari comes in the background of intense scenes, which also makes you aware of the intensity of the scene.
