After 55 years, Sheesh Mahal will be seen in Prem Ratan Dhan Payo

The one who as seen Mughal-e-Azam must have hear the song "jab pyaar kiya to darna kya". In this song seeing Madhubala dance on the stage with a lot of mirror was a great moment. Now after 55 years in the upcoming movie of Salman Khan "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" the set of Sheesh Mahal has been created. Although the real Sheesh Mahal in Agra has been kept away from the eyes of the people, they can now see it on screen. In Sheesh Mahal when the ray of sunlight falls the whole area of mirror starts reflecting and the place is lighted up. It was the bathing room of Mumtaz Mahal, which used to be a lively place during Mughal period. After her death on 17 June 1631 it became extinct. Now after 384 years of her death, Sheesh Mahal is still looking to hits original place back. The tourists has affected it so much that as not been repaired yet. They used to take out the mirrors from here. It effected it a lot. Due to the working of fountains as well, the mirrors got affected. it has been said said till the height of the hands, 250 mirrors have been removed. The SSI has then closed entry of tourists here years ago. Although the mirror frames have been used so that the tourists can see it.  The ancient gate of Sheesh Mahal is 1m wide. The tourits can see through it. Film Mughal-e-Azam was black and white although the song pyaar kiya to darna kya was colored. An amount of 1 crore was spent on it, although the films at that time was made in just 10 lakhs. It had took a lot of time to create that set, which was then broken after the movie.
