Weekend Collection Of 'Indu Sarkar' 'Raag Desh' and 'Mubarakan'

Last week Friday, three big movies released in the theatres, ‘Mubarakan’, ‘Raag Desh’ and ‘Indu Sarkar’. All the three movies belonged to complete different genres and had an appealing factor. Where ‘Mubarakan’ was a comedy movie, ‘Raag Desh’ was based on a true story happened before Independence and ‘Indu Sarkar’ was hard hitting movie that uncovered the unknown truth of the time of Emergency in India. The movie ‘Mubarakan’ opened on a very mild note on its first day, but later it picked up the pace. The movie made on a budget of Rs. 55 crore and earned Rs. 5.25 crore on Friday, Rs. 7.38 cr on Saturday and on Sun Rs. 10.37 crore. A total of the weekend Box Office collection stands to be Rs. 22.91 crore only in India. Mubarakan Box Office Collection The movie ‘Indu Sarker’ on its first day, due to low screen counts the film made an opening amount of Rs 1.42 Crores and on Saturday the collection was Rs. 1.60 Crores and total Rs. 3.02 Crore. The Movie ‘Raag Desh’ opened at Rs 0.14 Crore and over the weekend also the movie was unable to perform well. The future of Raag Desh seems bleak, though the story of the movie was strong and the director and cast were also good but considering that it was a very busy Friday, the movie fizzled out at the Box Office.
