Sonu Sood Says That He IS Fullfing His Father’s Dream By Playing A Soldier In ‘Paltan’

JP Dutta is one of the filmmakers who has given some amazing war films in the past including ‘Border’ and ‘LOC Kargil’, now he is all set to return with another war film ‘Paltan’, which will be based on the Indo-China 1962, the movie is on its early stage right now and will be released in December 2018. The first poster of the movie was released a few weeks ago and it was impressive, it was one of the coolest movie posters of the year. Sonu Sood, who is one of the main lead of the movie says that he is fulfilling his father’s dream by playing an army man in this film. He revealed that his father wanted him to be a soldier and also stated that he always wanted to play a soldier on screen but never got a chance before this film. “I remember when I first met JP Sir eight years back, he promised me that he will give me a role of an army and now finally he did. When I told this to my dad, who was alive back then, he was so happy, he couldn’t wait to see me as an army man but unfortunately he is no more now, and I wish was alive to see me in that role”, he said. He also revealed that he was in JP Dutta’s ‘LOC Kargil’, but then got replaced. Sonu will be an amazing army man, he has the physique and looks, which calls him for this role. ‘Paltan’ also stars Arjun Rampal, Suneil Shetty, Gurmeet Choudhary, Harshwardhan Rane, Luv Sinha and Sidhant Kapoor in the lead role. Sonakshi Sinha’s brother Luv Sinha will be making his debut in this film. Earlier, Abhishek Bachchan was also the part of the movie but then he left.
