'Shorgul' is releasing on July 1

Jimmy Shergill and Ashutosh Rana starrer film 'Shorgul' release date has been changed two time, but finally it is releasing on 1 July. Producers are going to release the film on 1 July. They hope that film will release on 750 screens. Film's Creative Director Shashi Verma said, 'We were to release the film on 24th June, but could not do it. Many hurdles came in between, but we will release the film on 1 July. We are hoping to release on 700-750 screens.' It is said that film is based on Muzaffarnagar riots. It is said that it is based on BJP MLA Sangeet Som, UP CM Akhilesh Yadav and Cabinet member Azam Khan. However, makers have denied this that is based on Muzaffarnagar riots. Verma said, 'Sangeet Som is a MLA and being a MLA, it is his responsibilities to serve his society, but you all are spreading wrong news that film is made to destroy the image, this is wrong.' Producer Vijay Singh said, 'We are been threatened that if we see the film then Riots will happen.
