Ali Abbas Zafar appreciated Salman Khan and said that Salman Khan was totally dedicated to Sultan. Ali Abbas said, 'He was not laid back at all. On paper he knew he can’t afford to be laid back as he had to work hard for this film as he is racing against a steam engine. In wrestling, weight goes up and down. Physically, this film has been very challenging.' Director said, 'Only difficult days he used to say, can I eat ice cream and the day when he completed it, he ate 4 ice creams. He gained his weight till 100 kgs, then reduced to 90 kgs and then 32 Kgs. He said, '“At the age of 50 to do all this in six to eight months takes a lot of hard work. Even when he was not working on sets he had to train for four hours.' Ali said, Salman knew that in 40-50 % film, he will be seen in Langot, he did not want to ear langot for long in the film.
