Salman should not become Goodwill Ambassador of Olympics : Milkha Singh

Famous Runner Milkha Singh is also opposing on making Salman Khan as Goodwill Brand Ambassador for Rio Olympics. He says that selecting any one from sports will be better. Milkha Singh said, 'I believe that players who are connected with Shooting, Athletes, Volleyball or other games are only real Ambassador, who should represent the country in Olympics. 85 years old Legend said that Ambassador should be from Sports field. He said, 'India has produced so many sportspersons like PT Usha, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Ajit Pal and so many others who have given their sweat and blood for the country. One of these could have been made a goodwill ambassador. What was the need to import a person from Bollywood? Milkha, who won gold in 1958 and 1962 Asian Games, is upset that said no Indian sportsperson had been picked up as ambassador. He said, 'Let me make it clear that I am not against Salman Khan, but the decision of the IOA is wrong and the government should interfere in the matter. This is for the first time I am seeing a Bollywood hero as goodwill ambassador for Olympics. I want to ask has Bollywood ever made any sportsperson an ambassador for any of their event?
