The much-awaited action film 'Sooryavanshi' is all set to weave magic on the theatre screens on the occasion of Diwali. The Bollywood industry has been subject to a lot of allegations and rumours following the unfortunate demise of Sushant Singh Rajput. In a similar instance, famous director and producer Karan Johar faced a tremendous amount of criticism for promoting nepotism and favouritism in the film industry.

There were rumours arising Karan Johar's role in the upcoming flick Sooryavanshi. There was a hearsay and speculations that Karan Johar's name in regard with the producer of the movie will be removed due to the numerous allegations that the director has faced. The news spread like wildfire and rumours began doing the rounds on social media. However, Indian film critic Taran Adarsh recently rubbished the information of Karan Johar being removed from Sooryavanshi by calling it "untrue". Taran Adarsh reportedly informed that Karan Johar still remains a part of the upcoming project. The film critic also mentioned that the information of Karan being a part of the film has been clarified by Reliance Entertainment.

Ever since Sushant Singh Rajput has committed suicide, Karan Johar has faced a tremendous amount of hatred and criticism for promoting and supporting star kids by giving them a chance in the big movies. Rohit Shetty's Sooryavanshi is supposed to release on Diwali and speculations are that the movie would emerge as a hit. The movie features an ensemble cast of Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in pivotal roles, Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Gulshan Grover, Jackie Shroff, Sikander Kher, Vivan Bhatena, Abhimanyu Singh and others. The upcoming flick has already garnered tremendous popularity and fans have been awaiting the release. Sooryavanshi was earlier scheduled to release on 24 March, 2020.
