‘Ranchi Diaries’ Box Office Collection Day Wise Budget Hit or Flop

‘Ranchi Diaries’ Box Office Collection - Yesterday, we saw the release of the small budget film ‘Ranchi Diaries’, which was not expected to be anything big and despite having a single release tomorrow, the movie failed to grab the attention of the audience. It released in very limited screens, which is not a very big deal for this film because if it would have released on a larger screen it would not have helped the movie either. It got the awful reviews from the critics; some even said that it is a waste of time. Now, the failure of this movie will help the previously released movies ‘Newton’ and ‘Judwaa 2’, which is quite frankly ruling the Box Office right now, and till date, it has earned more than 100 crores in just two weeks’ time and will continue to run this week too. Now, ‘Ranchi Diaries’, as expected, didn’t open with a big number. It opened with approx. 30 lakhs to 40 lakhs on the first day, which is not very big and considering the fact that has released in very limited screens that’s pretty much it for this movie. Along with ‘Ranchi Diaries’, the English film ‘Victoria And Abdul’ starring Judi Dench and Ali Fazal released, which also didn’t impress the audience. However, it did have a better Box Office Collection than ‘Ranchi Diaries’ and even got better reviews than that. And the collection of this movie might grow in the weekends. We don't know the verdict of 'Ranchi Diaries', we don't know whether it will be hit or flop but there are no expectations from this movie on the weekend; the collection will drop from Saturday as it got bad reviews from the critics. The movie will be out from the theatres next week as we will see the clash of big films ‘Secret Superstar’ and ‘Golmaal Again’, which would be interesting to see. Both the movies are expected to have a good run at the Box Office but over obviously, ‘Golmaal Again’ will outshine ‘Secret Superstar’ in terms of Box Office Collection, but the movies are expected to earn at least 100 crores.
